This month, we’re proud to announce our partnership with Foster Together collecting donations to provide foster families in the St. Louis area with fresh socks and underwear as kids gear up for back to school.

Foster children often arrive at their new homes with little more than the clothes on their backs. Necessities like clean underwear and socks become urgent needs that foster families must address immediately. Through this community initiative, Air Comfort Service is stepping up to help ensure these essential items are available when children need them most.

About Foster Together

Foster Together has been making a meaningful difference in the St. Louis community since 2018. What began as a small group of mothers collecting clothing items has grown into a comprehensive 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves thousands of children annually. The organization operates on a simple but powerful mission: to equip and support children and families impacted by foster care.

Foster families can request items through Foster Together’s streamlined system. The organization operates both emergency delivery services and offers a boutique-style shopping experience. The boutique location in Arnold, Missouri, provides ongoing support where families can select items in a retail-like environment.  With emergency delivery service, they can deliver clothing and other essentials like car seats and bedding within just a few days. This rapid response helps ease the transition for both children and their new families during what is often a stressful and emotional time.

The organization maintains strict standards to ensure donations reach their intended recipients. All families must show placement paperwork, guaranteeing that contributions support children genuinely in the foster care system. So, rest assured that your donation is helping real families in need.

How to Participate in Our Underwear Drive

Participating in Air Comfort Service’s underwear drive is straightforward and impactful. To make a donation, when our technicians visit your home for any service, simply ask them about their undies and they’ll ask if you’d like to donate to our underwear and sock drive for Foster Together.  Your donation will go directly toward purchasing new socks and underwear for foster kids throughout the greater St. Louis area.

You’ll have a line item on your invoice with your donation amount so we can track donations. Plus, Air Comfort Service will match every donation made, doubling the impact of your contribution! At the end of the drive, we’ll announce on our socials how much was raised so you can see the impact made.
