Zoning

Most homes have areas that are hard to cool or heat.   Your thermostat only knows the temperature where it is located.  If you have a two story home and are constantly turning down your thermostat to make the upstairs cool, your air conditioner is most likely running non-stop.  That means you’re using more energy, which means your utility bill will be higher, and you’re still not comfortable in your home!

A zoning systems allows you to control certain areas or “zones” of your home so you have

customized heating and cooling.  It works by splitting your home into different zones.  A thermostat is installed for each zone and dampers are installed into your home’s ductwork that will open and close as needed to control the flow of air to the various zones in your home.  A zoning system will not only give you maximum control over the comfort of your home, but will also save you money on your monthly utility bills!
