Humidifiers

In order to make your home as comfortable as possible,
you need to add moisture to the air. Air in your home that is
too dry can be uncomfortable to breathe, and can damage
wood products like flooring, pianos, picture frames and
cabinetry. Adding moisture to your home’s air reduces dry
throat and skin, static shocks, and increases energy efficiency.

In winter, it's especially important to add moisture to the air, since dry winter air can drive
down the relative humidity level in your home to as low as 15%, which is drier than the air in
most deserts.  Increased moisture in your homes air makes you feel warmer so you can
keep your thermostat set at lower temperatures. Take a look at our Aprilair and Honeywell
humidifiers and let us help make your home more comfortable.

Model 700

The Model 700 power humidifier (formerly Model 768) features truly automatic control, so there's no need to ever manually control the humidifier. It is also designed with ease of service in mind. It utilizes an outdoor temperature sensor for monitoring even the slightest changes in outdoor temperature. This high-tech humidification system can deliver up to 50% more moisture in comparison to competitive units. With flexibility in mind, it can even be installed in manual mode if necessary. Complementing any HVAC system, the 700 has an evaporation capacity of 0.75 gallons per hour, among the highest capacity humidifiers sold. If you own a larger home and want the best, then this may be the humidifier for you, as it will handle up to 4,200 square feet if your home is tight in construction.

Model 600

The Aprilaire Automatic Humidifier Model 600 takes humidifier innovation to the next level and performs as good as it looks! It offers all of the performance benefits of our other technologically-advanced computer-equipped automatic humidifiers and it’s easier than ever to have installed because it includes a built-in bypass damper, which means fewer parts to install. Plus, the damper is conveniently labeled for summer and winter settings, allowing you to set it for the entire season with no guesswork involved. Just set it and let your humidifier run automatically and it will deliver up to 50% more humidity, compared to other competitive units on the market. It also can be installed in manual mode if needed. The Model 600 has an evaporative capacity of 0.70 gallons per hour and is ideal for a home with up to 4,000 square feet if it’s tightly constructed. We believe it’s the best performing bypass humidifier on the market!

Model 550

The Model 550 bypass humidifier is our economy unit designed for smaller homes. This unit utilizes a manual humidifier control that can be installed in the living area or on the furnace ductwork. Along with all other models (except model 448) it is equipped with a drain to flush minerals from the system. The model 550 has an evaporative capacity of 0.50 gallons per hour and can handle up to 3,000 square feet if the home is tightly constructed.

Honeywell HE Series Bypass Humidifiers are Honeywell’s most popular type of humidifier, helps relieve scratchy throats and dry skin; 12-17 gallons of water evaporated per day.

Honeywell HE265A Power Humidifier is a good choice if you have wood floors and furniture, 18 gallons of water evaporated per day.
